Opposite Way round!

I like the other way where all the imagery is on the right hand side... discussed with the group and they also agree :-)

Background Idea

The Below Post...

In the below post the top 1 is the original. Ther are 3 variations, the other colour 1, second one down, is a posterized view. The other 2 i think give good examples of what we could do in terms of using roll overs to the clickable areas if ya get me? like they could be quite bland n mundane and quite dull thus making the roll overs stand out? theyre onli a few examples obviously but i think we should start lookin at a consistant style to use throughout and start designin the actual interface... x

Made it when i was a bit bored last night! lol cud do some different versions wit more/less stuff depending on where we have it.. need to sort out a 'site map' i'll have a go a bit later on and then we can all have a look at it and change bits around if needed :-)

Wednesday 21st Nov

Work doin today... me n rach r currenyly in the mac suit tryin out cuttin out ppls hair n doin it in all different colours n styles n stuff in order to see how accessible and effective it is to use the ACTUAL hiar directly from the photos or whether we just need to use the photos as a startin point and perhaps draw them ourselves or use the pen tool in illustrator etc... basically just to get a feel of wot the hairstyles'll look like on our little game thing.

I think tmo we should meet early n decide on which styles/images we are gonna use then go to our lesson which i t hink starts at 2. yeh 2. i'll post wot we'v done today shortly...

Nice!!

Yeh Clare im wel impressed wiv ur barbershop chair graphic, u did it ye or u find it? we could use that deffo cos it could either be the barbershop logo or like a rollover for the barbershop chairs on the website or sumfin like that? Cool!

Interesting design with some ideas that could give us inspiration for a final design look, or how to use rollovers etc effectively.
REALLY GOOD MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LOOK AT THIS ONE!!

http://www.cartoonstock.com/directory/b/barbershops.asp
Funny barber shop cartoons!!

Have fun browsing people :-)
Some ideas generated yesterday (dot & pin):
*start up screen, user has to drag plug of a razor into socket, razor moves in S shape along screen to reveal interior of barber shop.
*each chair in shop represents different group of people in nottingham (either accessorized or different types of music plays for each one) user clicks and chooses one.
*mannequin appears with hair magazine/ appointment card and user chooses various styles, colours until happy.
*pay at checkout and magazine format appears with ability to allow user to browse through photos around nottingham and hairstyles found.

Sounds we could use:
* Hair Clippers
* Plug going into socket
* Background shop noise
* Hairspray/Products squirting
* Scissors snipping
* Phone ringing
* Door swinging
* Magazine pages turning
* Water running/washing/bubbles popping
* Different sorts of music stlyes

Group meeting 2pm 20/11 Bonington cafe :-)
